Soooo….Howudoin’?  I hope that you are fabulous,  like me!  As usual, I had a ball on today’ s show.  I so love what I do…heck, I’d do it for free!!! (don’t tell that to my husband)…another gorgeous day here in Melbourne, Fl….rain later today, but hey that’s cool, my roses are BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Today we spoke about a few stories that are making news…..one candidate for property appraiser wants to tax drug houses…..?  ok…so when they apply for the rental, do they tell the landlord that that’s what they are going to use it for so he can pay those taxes there…? is it me….no?..good!  Sounds like a dumb idea to me.  Joe Average, who has to leave the state due to a change in jobs but can’t sell his house and has to rent it to make the payments….he is a law abiding citizen, has no clue that it’s happening.  Why penalize him?  Once the house is busted, get the money from the criminals.  They ususally have way more money than us in the middle class.  Now of course, if it is found out that the landlord was involved with it, then charge him.  Otherwise, does not sound like a good idea to me.

How about the guy in Milwaulkee who shot his lawn mower because it didn’t work…and haven’t we all been there?  He argues that it’s his lawn mower and his yard, so he should be able to do it…and he does have a point….to a point….makes ya think..

the middle class is struggling….that from cnnmoney.com….ya think?  it took yoy geniuses this long to figure that out?  amazing….gas is $4 a gallon, and when gas prices go up, so does EVERYTHING ELSE…except our salaries….”poor” people have programs that they can apply for, richer people have tax breaks and incentives, and of course, money.  Us middle class folk are pretty much screwed, and they keep turning the screws tighter on us.

Now Congress passed housing legislation to help those who are going to lose their home…and to save Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac….both groups who should lose what they have and start all over.  Let the free market decide how it plays out, because anytime the government gets involved in trying to help, it’s always a disaster.  Trust me folks, we will be hearing about those who got money to pay off their mortgage and used it to go on vacation, buy expensive purses and jewelry or what ever…..another tremendous waste…and just where do you think that they are going to get that $300 BILLION dollars from?  Their savings account?  nope…..it will come from us already overtaxed, over worked and underpaid taxpayers…..just you watch…I’ve called it right here…

it’s an election years folks…..make your voice heard…make your vote count.

We did have some laughs with my Sunday funnies and Pat from Palm Bay won the gift card to House of Joe….Congrats!

Have a great week…be happy and I’ll be checking in during the week!

Howudoin’?  It was another beautiful Sunday morning driving into work…the kind of day where yousay out loud…”Thank you God for my life…” sun shining, a few clouds in the sky and you are alive to witness it all!  God is good!

We spoke a lucky woman who beat cancer, who found her soulmate in the process and won a dream wedding!!  Yepper…God is good…although her name wil be Courtney Courtney…but she’s ok with that so good for her!

How about that miserable cop in Daytona Beach who threatened the new Starbucks owner that if he did not continue to get free coffee, the owner might experience longer response times from the police department???  What a set of gonads this piece of garbage has!!  Good for the new owner telling this lousy excuse for a cop to take a walk….and he’d been getting free coffee 6 TIMES A DAY!!!  get outta here you bum….

Senator Graham thinks we’ve become a nation of whiners….?  Really sir?  I like to think of it as a nation that is getting fed up with the Federal Government taking all of our business away from our great country and giving it to practical slave labor….for having to pay an EXORBITANT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR GAS…which, in turn, jacks up the price of EVERY OTHER THING THAT WE NEED TO LIVE!!  Whiners????  How dare you…come on down to our level and try and make the decision of either getting gas to get to work or buying groceries to feed the kids…..what nerve…it’s an election year folks!!  make your voice heard….

A great new program witht he Sheriffs department….inmates help heal and train abused dogs, and the dogs heal the inmates!  I think that’s great! and…it’ does not cost the taxpayer a dime!  Dontcha just live Sheriff Parker???….the guy is lookin out for us boys and girls…..and he is a nice man….

We had some laughs with my Sunday funnies, before you headed out the door for your day…Evelyn won the gift card to House of Joe, my sponsor (Thanks guys!)  Go see them, have a great cup of coffee and support your LOCAL businesses!!

Have a great week everyone….i’ll be starting to post some pics of the house (before and after) so you can see the transformation!

post Welcome…come on in..

Howudoin’?  Welcome to this weeks blog and podcast.  I was SOOOO busy this week that this is the first chance that I have had to sit down and get some computer work done!!!  No rest for the weary….I hope that you had a steller week…I sure did….busy working, going to the gym, baseball and soccer and of course taking care of the family……there’s always something going on.

On this weeks show we talked up some stories….what a mess the property apprasiers office is in!  Get rid of this guy, will ya?  Time to show him the door….the whole office is a mess with shady deals for politicians and their families…get lost…and how come no body ever picks up on those drivers who rack up citation after citation for speeding and wreckless driving until they kill some one…..THEN they arrest them…IMHO (in my humble opinion, for those of you who don’t know text lingo)…THAT’S TOO LATE!  This kid had 7 citiations in 3 years…and he’s only 19….let’s get some stiffer penalties for these drivers, no matter what the age, because it looks like the parents are CLUELESS!!!  Obama got a discount on his mortgage!  It must be nice to be the King…or a politician….or a contributor…ya think if I contribute to someone’s campaign, iI can get a break?….geeze….what has this country come to?  No shame, no respect, no dignity?

It’s time, ladies and gents, to vote these no good bums out of office…and make our voices heard…remember the movie Network?    “I’m mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore!”  Let’s get it together before the rest of society goes to hell in a hand basket….

It’s scary I tell ya…we see it happening right before our eyes…..SAVE YOURSELF!!  SAVE YOUR COUNTRY!!!

Of course…we also worked the funny bone with some Sunday funnies…as always.  We need to laugh now more than ever…Cecila got the gift card to House of Joe….it was a busy day at the mic!  Podcast is up so if you missed it…give a listen!

Have a FABULOUS week…and I will try my best to check in this week….:)

post Happy 4th of July!!

Howudoin’ Americans!?!   Happy Independence day to all of you!  Unfortunately, it looks like our government is trying, yet again, to take away more of our independence…on today’ show We spoke about how Senator Warner wants to impose a government speed limit (remember Sammy Hagar, I can’t drive 55???!???) to 55 miles per , because it worked so well back in the 70’s….Forget the proposterous idea of lifting the ban on offshore drilling, thanks to the environmentalist whackos…..i found this on http://www.portfolio.com/  written by  Liz Gunnison  (nice name!)… The Minerals Management Service, the government agency that regulates domestic energy production off America’s coast, estimates there are 19 billion barrels of oil offshore that have not been exploited because of the congressional moratorium, along with 86 trillion cubic feet of natural gas (the United States consumes about 7.6 billion barrels of crude oil annually). The agency notes that because drilling methods have improved greatly since exploration was undertaken 25 years ago, there may be even more than currently believed.
Noooooo, let’s not try to take control of OUR natural resources and cut back our dependence on foreign oil…we need more laws and more government in our lives….(of course, you do know that this is sarcasm…if not stop reading now).  My blood pressure shot up a few points on that one.

We also spoke about how Disney is “exempt” from new gun law in effect here in Florida…Disney trumps the 2nd amendment….It’s good to be the King….amazing.  How some moronic teenager (oxymoron?) tried to sell his vote on Ebay…talkabout the ultimate disrespect…make this idiot maintain Arlington National Cemetary for 5 years…let him see the sacrifice that was made for him.  That might slap some common sense into his empy brain.  geeze…..where are this kids parents?  We had some laughs with my sunday funnies, and just spoke about a couple of other stories that caught my attention.  In short, we had FUN!!!  I hope you had a chance to partake, if not, give a listen.  It’s FREE!!!!

I’ll be checking back in during the week…

Have a great week…

Howudoin?on this weeks show, a couple of technical difficulties…my mouse died!!!  You never realize how important that littel rolly thing is until you don’t have it!  Good thing my hubby, John, was there.  He was taking some pics of me in action for the website…so he searched the station and found a live one!!  So the podcast kinda starts a few minutes into the show…I discussed what’s going on in my life, which sometimes is more interesting than what’s going on in the world!  made ya laugh with some sunday funnies…hee hee!  Then we discusses how nice it was that the Supreme Court gave us back our Constitutional Rights….specifically the 2nd amendment…ban on guns overturned in District of Columbia…how nice of them huh?  How that scum, Mark Dean Schwab lost his appeal…GOOD…maybe now we will finally get some justice for Junny….hopefully today at 6 pm…i’ll keep ya posted…and some other stories making the rounds that make us think…..take a listen!

Check back when you can, leave me comments and emails!!

Talk with you soon!!
