I’m fabulous!!! Thanks so much for askin’!! A beautiful day in the neighborhood today…starting to get hotter again…BUT SOON…cooler weather will drop down upon us and we’ll be able to open all the windows and air out the house from all the summer smells!!!
Another busy week for us…football, soccer, my mother in laws move, rearranging furniture…..WHEW!! The hubby and I went to QFest to relax!! We had some really delicious barbecue, hung out with some really nice people and just had a nice time…
Today’ show was chock filled with schtuff…
Paul Newman has passed…..oh well, at least we had the privilege of his acting and we have it on film. Such a handosme man, but it did not go to his head….and was married to his “Steak”, Joanne Woodward, for 50 years!!! How great is that? We will miss you Paul, thanks for all the geat films….rest in peace blue eyes…
Chris Rock appeared on Larry King Live and went through his monologue about how great Obama is because he only has one house…so that makes him closer to the average American than John McCain, who has 7 houses and is worth $150 million dollars. Vote for the guy with one house, he says, because he’s afraid to lose it and be homeless.
Well…..I would rather have someone in the White House who knows how to make a PROFIT! The government needs to be run like a business….we are bleeding out here, ladies and gents….we’ve cut the jugular…and a $700 BILLION band aid is not going to fix it. We need people in the White House WHO GET IT…WHO CAN MAKE A PROFIT…looks to me that would NOT be Barack Obama. He wants to raise taxes on the richest people…those who worked and sacraficed to become the richest in the country…to pay for those who are in financial crisis…..HUH? I’m sorry, is it just me, or does this sound like a REALLY BAD idea….everyone is screaming we need a change. Didn’ t that happenin 2006, when a DEMOCRATIC congress was voted in, because THEY were going to end the war…remember that? It’s been 2 years, we’re still at war, plus we have all these other crises we now have to deal with. Well, that’s not the kind of change that I wanted, how about you?
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE…make sure that you are registered to vote….because now more than ever it is so important to make your voice heard.
Have a fabulous week!!! I’ll try and check in…

Howudoin’?? I’m FABULOUS..thanks for askin’….another beautiful morning here in Brevard county…the sunrise…only one word needed to describe it… spectacular!
We were supposed to leave for vacation today…but sometimes situations arise that you need to take care of and part of that is sacrifice…my mother in law sold her house! HOORAY!! It had been on the market for over a year, so good news! the bad news was she needed to be put by the end of this week (our week to go away)…so we canceled the vacation to help her go through her things and figure out what she wanted to do with all her stuff! We’ll reschedule for another time…since my hubby was up in St. Augusitne with his brothers and his mother, I was tasked with mowing the lawn….with our NEW rider mower!! YEA BABY! what a dream it was…now our lawn will ALWAYS look good! Everyone wants a chance to mow, my son and daughter and of course my hubby….so we won”t have any problems with high grass!
We had football on Thursday and soccer on Saturday and general family outings, so we’ve been busy.
On today’s show we chatted about a couple of stories that are making the rounds….
the super collider will be out of commission for about 2 months to make repairs. It seems that a faulty electrical connection between two magnets that stopped superconducting, melted and led to a mechanical failure and let the helium out. Now, I’m no rocket scientist, but these guys are! How amazing to have that kind of intelligence to be able to take it all in and figure it out….space, nuclear, physics, whatever the science….it takes great dedication and passion to work in these fields….and patience! This collider has been in the process of construction for 2 decades!! I’m really looking forward to what it will reveal when it is back on line….
Then we spoke about the latest govenment bailout of AIG for….$700 BILLION dollars….that’s alot of bad mortgages boys and girls….and it is the opinion of this loadmouthed broad that those institutions that were managed poorly and had bad decisions made should suffer the consequences in a free market and go out of business. We have been through this before, and while it may have taken soemtime to recover, we did recover. Any time the government gets involved in areas that it should not, it ends up costing more money than originally “promised”, AND a trainwreck…it is my belief that this bail out is not a good idea. We should be finding several privately owned business who can merge together to help with this problem….the govenment is a lousy businessman…we’ve seen it before…we can predict what is going to happen.
And there was one more story that I wanted to get to and ran out of time.. ( I need a 3 hour show, I tell ya)…
This is from Florida Today….
JACKSONVILLE — With 10,000 supporters cheering him on at a downtown park — and 6,000 more straining at the fences outside — Barack Obama electrified supporters Saturday with stinging attacks on his Republican rival and promises of better times to come. The nation’s first black presidential nominee got a rock star’s greeting at Metropolitan Park, despite arriving more than an hour late and in heat and humidity so oppressive that several supporters collapsed and were rolled out on stretchers.Dee Johnson, a 44-year-old telecom project manager from Jacksonville, brought her 4-year-old daughter, Journey Johnson-Buffaloe, to the line at 8 a.m. to guarantee a good spot to see Obama.
Johnson described herself as a moderate Democrat, someone who was willing to listen to the ideas of moderate Republicans like McCain and Gov. Charlie Crist.
But Johnson said McCain is not the same candidate she watched with fascination in 2000, when he was willing to downplay divisive social issues like abortion. His pick of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as a running mate, in what to Johnson was an all-too-obvious nod to the Christian conservative base of the Republican Party, is a non-starter for her.
Palin is expected to draw enthusiastic crowds today when she makes her first campaign appearance in Florida in The Villages near Orlando.
And that worries Johnson.
“She’s Lucifer in a dress,” Johnson said. “She is the devil in disguise. She scares me.”
I don’t know about you,but I DON’T WANT A ROCK STAR FOR PRESIDENT!..If I did, I would vote for Jon Bonjovi! What exactly has this man done for this country and it’s people? I can’t find anything…he talks a good talk, but that’s about it. And this woman who says that Palin is Lucifer in dress…the devil in disguise and she scares me…..how is that? Because she believes in personal reponsibilty? That she actually has EXPERIENCE over Obama? (Watch the youtube video of Newt Gingrich slamming a reporter about Palin)
I’m tellin ya…Obama and people like Dee Johnson SCARE ME…I fear that uneducated voters are going to go out and vote for the “prettiest” candidate….the most popular…”the rock star” and that will plunge our country into an even further mess…I want government to be less intrusive, less expensive, less “pretty”, and more into fixing the problems that THIS COUNTRY has…I want a government that will do FOR THE PEOPLE….they seem to have forgotten us….
If I want a rock star, I’ll buy tickets and go see Aerosmith……
Ranting is soo good for the soul! I feel great….time to go and get some work done around the house…
Have a wonderful week….I’ll try checking back in……

Howudoin’?? I’m too fabulous for words, thanks for askin’!! What a day, what a day, what a day…(those are the famous words from my father in law Frank….who we miss immensely)…a gorgeous day…a great day to be alive!!
Busy soccer mom this weekend with 2 soccer games for my daughter and football for my son…and still have to go shopping, do the cooking, finish the laundry and straighten out the house, and watch FOOTBALL!!!
But I can do it…I AM WOMAN!!! I am tired…..:o
Lots of “schtuff” goin on and we spoke of several things on today’s show…
Nancy Pelosi is going to protect us from those “horrible people” who want to drill off the coast of Florida to become less dependent on foreign oil. Really Nance? protect us? How about protcting us from the likes of people like you…who think that us Americans are not capable enough to take care of ourselves…to do a great job drilling AND make sure that the environment is protected. Because as we all know, ladies and gentlemen, the Democraps believe that we are nothing but a bunch of sheep that need to be led. To that I say, “BOULDERDASH!” Americans are more than capable of drilling right here in the USA for oil, and do it RESPONSIBLY….just the idea being out there that the United States is THINKING of drilling for oil has sent the price down….hmmmmm
Why doesn’t Ms. Pelosi protect us from the very government that she is part of? Oh wait….she can’t do that, then she would not have a job. Too bad…for us.
Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae needed to be “rescued” by the federal government because both lost BILLIONS of dollars in the mortgage industry….and remember…these entities are not regulated….spent millions of dollars to lobbists to keep it that way, are now in such financial ruins tha the government has to go and save them…kinda like the blind leading the blind? Both of them should be allowed to crash and burn due to bad management, just like businesses do in the free market. We will recover from this. We always do. It may take time, but we will have a better housing market in the coming years and will have learned our lesson…the hard way. I believe Americans can tighten their belts better than anyone to help save their country. I know I would….
Congratulations to Matt!! He won the two tickets to go see 1964…the Tribute. The number 1 Beatles tribute show in the world! They will be appearing at the Theather at the Silver Spurs arena on November 13th. She loves you YEA YEA YEA!! Have a great time!
Go out and have a great week! Do something nice for someone…..it’s good Karma, and we can all use more good karma!
I’ll try and check in during the week!

It is with a heavy heart that I ask all of you to never forget what happened on this day, 9/11, in New York. 3000 innocents lost their lives, families were shattered, and we were brought into the realization that there are people in this world who will do whatever it takes to annihilate us.
As you go about your day, take time to remember.

Howudoin’? I’m fabulous and found five minutes uninterrupted time to myself….thanks for askin’!
I hope that your Sunday was wonderful…after the show, I went to my daughter’s soccer game in Orlando, and did not get home until dinner time…so I’ve been a busy soccer mom! My daughter’s team lost 1 to 0, but…I lost count after they had more than 20 shots on goal! they were SOOOOOO close…but, that’s ok. They proved what a well oiled machine they are! My son joined us at the game and took some great photos!
This week’s show was loads of fun ( as they all are)…I got started with my rants and raves about life….trying to find a lawnmower, soccer, football….thanks for letting me rant!
Then off to some Sunday funnies…..it’s good to laugh, because if you don’t, you might as well pack it in and say Ciao……
Stories I spoke about…The 60 year old teacher who had sex with her 17 year old student…15 TIMES…and how her lawyer felt that her bail was set too high..sorry…she should not even GET bail. What she did was premeditated…she was totally aware of what she was doing because she tried to cover it up! She is a sexual predator, and as such should be removed from society before she destroys another child…and while the boy she seduced was 17…most say he knew better too….that may be true…but as adults we are to be the role model for our children and teens to not get invovled in situations that we are not yet equipped to deal with…sex being one of those.
Palm Bay is taking the initiative to let adult businesses open in their town, but by their laws. They are trying to set aside an area of town where these businesses can operate, generate tax revenue and jobs, and still keep it away from kids and those who don’t want it in their backyard. Whether we like it or not, there is a market for this kind of business….billions of dollars are spent in the adult industry. If you are a consenting adult and not breaking the law, I don’t really care what you do to get your freak on. That’s your business. Just, keep it out of mine, and Palm Bay is trying to please everyone by letting the businesses operate AND being able to regulate it. Could be a big money maker for the city if it works. We’ll keep an eye on it.
Casey Anthony out of jail from an anonymous donor for her bail. The donor feels that Casey’s constitution rights ahve been grossly violated. What about Caylee’s rights? Who speaks for those who can’t? Why not give that money to the people who are looking for that child instead to the woman who KNOWS where to find her and says nothing. I’m sorry….I do not believe that her rights were violated. Casey Anthony is making a mockery of the justice system for ther 15 minutes of fame. What injustice.
Sara Palin! I like her. She’s not from Washington….she gets it! She knows the pains and struggles to raise a family in a society where hard core rap music, violent video games and the spotlight on totally dysfunctional celebrities are elevated and family values, hard work and responsibility are swept under the carpet. I think McCain made a great choice…I’m voting for them!
And make sure that you vote….who ever it is that you support, get out there are vote this November…..
Have a terrific week…If I can find another five minutes…I’ll be checking in!!!!
September 1st, 2008
Howudoin’? I’m fabulous(ly sunburned)…thanks for askin’….here’s hoping that you had a great, relaxing weekend….
As for me…no such thing. Busy all weekend with work and soccer. No sleeping late for this busy lady. We’ve been shopping for a lawn mower too, and who knew it would be so difficult? A lawn mower? geeze…what nightmare….
My daughter was in a tournament this weekend in Merritt Island all three days, so I was there cheering her on. We had family in from out of town, so we were occupied with that, and of course still having to do all the things that you normally do…BUSY!!!!
The show was busy too, I spoke about how Elizabeth Edwards and women like her need to dump those cheating husbands of theirs and move on! Give me a break with this. I love my husband, but to me, adultry is the BIGGEST BETRAYAL of all, and i could never forgive that, NEVER. These women who stand behind their man after this type of betrayal need psychologial help…really.
I talked about the Caylee Anthony case here in Florida, but it is national news now. I made my prediction on my show earlier in the month that Ifelt that Caylee was already dead, the grandparents knew it, and now that they have lost their granddaughter, they are doing whatever they can to save their daughter, who was probably the one who killed her. DNA results back this week confirm a decomposing body was in the trunk of the mother, Casey Anthony. She is back in jail and is still not co-operating with officials. Nothing has been found yet, but trust me ladies and gents…..they will.
May God rest her little soul in Heaven.
A case in West Palm Beach…like Terry Schiavo…woman in an irreverisible coma, a vegitative state and the husband wants to remove the feeding tube and let his wife die a peaceful, dignified death. Her mother feels that she can come out of it, which, we all know, is just wishful thinking. The judge handed over guardianship to her husband, which is how it should be….NO INTERFERENCE from parents or the government. I don’t know of anyone who has said that they wish to live that way, do you? Now the government, who can’t even screw in a light bulb, but screws everything else up, wants to tell you whether or not you can die and how…what a NIGHTMARE!! Get the hell out of my personal life and take care of the business that you were sent there to do…get away from me with your outrageous meddling.
Congratulations go out to John W…he got those last 2 tickets to see Three Dog Night at The Theather at the Siver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee! Joy to the World!! Say hi to Jerimiah for me….
Have a great week, do something nice for someone….it’s good karma…and we can all use that!
