HOWUDOIN’??? I’m FABULOUS, thanks for askin’!
Something about the New Year that makes us feel rejuvenated and refreshed.. It’s an opportunity to start over, to get to all those things that we say we want to do…stop smoking, lose weight, re-establish relationships and friendships that have been neglected or forgotten..whether it’s with family, friends or God.
But our problem is commitment, of which I myself am guilty. We need finish what we start. We need to take responsibility for ourselves and our actions, and then become a good example for those around us, especially our children. Good does rub off on others…give it a try! I know that I will be.
February will be 3 years that i have quit smoking! So that’s one down….several to go.
As I get older, I realize those things that are truly important to me, and what I need to do to keep them safe and available in my life. I know, I know, it’s easier said than done, but that’s the great thing about staying committed…think of the rewards! Instant gratification is fleeting….we see it all the time.
I realize how blessed I am…I have my health, my children’s health, a loving spouse, a roof over my head, a job, family and friends and God…..but all the other things in my life that I need to work for to keep, and I will.
My wish for everyone is for a happy and healthy New Year with prosperity for all, including this great country of ours, of which I have great faith in.
May God bless us all in the coming year…..in 2009, we are going to shine!

Howudoin’? I’m fab-u-lous….thanks for askin’!!!
I hope that everyone had a wonderful and filling Thanksgiving…we sure did. Just finished up the leftovers! Now Christmas is coming and we get to do it all over again! YEA?
Good thing i have been consistent with my workouts…5 days a week, weight training, cardio and yoga….already see a difference. I don’t have to hold my breath to zip up my pants!! The slide right on over the hips no problem!! I love it!
Still working on getting my show back on the air….but right now, we are moving to new studios and with the holidays coming, I am going to wait until after the new year to get the wheels rollin’…i’ll enjoy the holidays with the family. If you know of anyone who would like to sponsor my show, Coffee Talk with Liz Litterello, email me here and let me know.
Now, a few of my own thoughts….Rod Blagojevich…what can I say? He has pretty much showed his true colors and proved to Americans what a total piece of garbage that he is. And what can we day about his lovely wife? Well, she has a mouth like a sewer (me too) and showed us her unrivaled diva personality (i have one too) but…I’m NOT a first lady!! holy cow….this broad makes me look tame, and that’s not easy.
They had clergy over their house to pray….uhhh ookkkk. Here’s what I pray for. that the both of them get booted out of the positions that they currently have…have every deal that was made with either of them invesigated and NEVER be allowed to work in politics again.
I think that ANY politican, no matter what your party affiliation, should be held to a higher standard, and any time that corruption is found, they should be stripped of EVERYTHING, never to be allowed to work in politics again. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it!
I, like you, am so sick and tired of hearing about these morons who take advantage of the trust of the people that voted for them. I think that it is atrociuos. Rod Blagojevich and those like him need to made an example of, severely….this guy had some set of, well, you know what i’m referring to. Him and those like him need to be knocked down a few notches.
Plus the people of Illinois need to START BEING AWARE OF WHO THEY ARE VOTING TO OFFICE!! How can you constantly keep voting in people who are screwing you? INVESTIGATE…ask questions, do your research….actually, that’s what all Americans need to do. There are so many uneducated voters in this country, that I believe that there should be a mandatory class taken on candidates before you are allowed to vote…..sorry…just venting.
So, as you go through your day and you think you’ve got it bad, think of Rod Blagojevich and thank your lucky stars that you are not like him. That right there is a huge blessing.
I’ll be checking in with updates….until then, God Bless you and have a fabulous week!
